Why a Purple Manatee Soft Toy Makes the Perfect Gift for Ocean Lovers
By phil
If you’re on the hunt for a gift that’s a little different from the usual bears and bunnies, let us introduce you to someone rather special — our Purple Manatee Sea Cow Soft Toy. Gentle, squishy and utterly adorable, this 30cm plushie is winning hearts across the UK, and it’s easy to see why.
What Makes Manatees So Special?
Manatees are often called the “gentle giants” of the sea, and they have a wonderfully calming presence — much like this soft toy itself! Introducing children to less common ocean animals like manatees is a brilliant way to spark curiosity about marine life and the wider natural world. Who knows, your little one’s next favourite animal might just be a sea cow!
Perfect From Birth
One of the things we love most about this plushie is that it’s suitable from birth. Made from 100% polyester with an irresistibly soft finish, it’s gentle against even the most sensitive newborn skin. It also conforms to EU safety standards and carries the CE symbol, so you can gift it with complete confidence.

How to Care for Your Manatee Plushie
Keeping your soft toy clean and cuddly couldn’t be easier. Here are our top care tips:
- Machine wash on a gentle, cool cycle (30°C or below)
- Place inside a pillowcase or laundry bag to protect the fabric
- Reshape whilst damp and air dry away from direct heat or sunlight
- Avoid tumble drying to help the toy keep its soft, plush texture
With a little care, this manatee will stay soft and huggable for years to come — just as a great plushie should.
